Overview:

Healthcare Services Group (HCSG) is seeking a Safety Compliance Associate to join our growing
Corporate Team.

Position Summary: 
The Risk Management Department protects the financial and reputational integrity of the Company
by aggressively mitigating and managing known risks and proactively identifying and planning for
future risks. We serve the Company by building relationships and trust and acting as a valued partner

The Safety Compliance Associate will assist the Department by taking ownership of safety-related
processes and procedures and engaging with field operations and vendor partners to ensure timely
and appropriate action. Among other things, this role will execute and monitor existing programs,
perform routine audits to identify risks, and assist in the development and implementation of new
policies, systems, and/or controls as needed to create and maintain a safe and OSHA-compliant
workplace. The Safety Compliance Associate will join an evolving, collaborative team that supports
professional growth and development.

Responsibility: 

• Engage with field operations to investigate workplace health and safety incidents, including
  follow-up, resolution plans, and implementation of corrective measures
• Ensure that existing accounts and startup locations have necessary and up-to-date safety
  materials and supplies (e.g., PPE, SDS binders, posters, etc.)
• Assist the Compliance Manager with conducting audits to evaluate compliance with internal
  practices and procedures and external laws and government regulations
• Support the Compliance Manager as needed with OSHA-reportable incidents and other OSHA
  record keeping and reporting projects
• Contribute to the planning and development of safety and compliance programs
• Attend and participate in virtual safety committee meetings
• Develop an understanding and knowledge of OSHA rules and regulations, other state and
  federal laws and regulations, and HCSG’s safety policies and procedures
• Perform other duties as assigned

Qualifications:

• Technical proficiency (MS Office and Gmail) required
• Dependable, proactive, and able to work independently with minimal supervision
• Exceptional communication skills, time management skills, and professional demeanor
