As part of the Customer Marketing team, the Marketing Manager will deliver marketing plans to retain prior clients, win back former clients and increase revenues through cross sell and referral programs. Focused on our Consumer Tax product line, this position will manage and coordinate a subset of the very large, complex marketing programs in email, calling, referral, local and direct mail channels. Responsible for coordination and management of plan development, audience definition, creative development, approvals, quality assurance, reporting and analysis. The Marketing Manager will collaborate with the Sr Marketing Managers leading email, calling, referral, local and direct mail programs to ensure strategy flows through execution. Additionally, this position will identify, develop, recommend and implement cross channel opportunities for integration and process consistency.

 

JOB DUTIES

  • Responsible for Customer Marketing program activities to include development, production, quality assurance, delivery and analysis 

  • Ensure all marketing campaigns adhere to Customer Marketing strategy and objectives while tracking toward key KPIs.

  • Regularly report on the performance of marketing programs to Senior Leadership, including observations, insights, and recommendations for enhancements to improve overall effectiveness.

  • Collaborates and communicates with agency and internal teams creating a high level of awareness of marketing programs and successful execution. 

  • Ensures projects are completed on time and within budgetary guidelines.

  • Develops program feasibility studies/ business cases, provides ad-hoc program analysis/reports, and communicates updates. 

 

PREFERRED REQUIREMENTS

  • Familiarity with franchised, multi-unit retail services 

  • Financial services and/or seasonal business experience 

  • Hands on experience with Salesforce Marketing Cloud (SFMC) or another similar tool

What you'll bring to the team...

  • 3- 5 years consumer marketing experience 

  • Broad-based retail marketing experience, including specific knowledge of email, SMS, and direct channels 

  • Experience in developing marketing strategies. 

  • Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously while adhering to established timeframes. 

  • Ability to balance short and long-term priorities. 

  • Outstanding oral, written, and interpersonal skills.  Proven presentation skills necessary to communicate across all levels of the organization, including VP and above.

  • Demonstrated analytical and problem-solving skills, use of data to drive decision-making, and crafting data into a meaningful channel-level story. 

  • Proficiency in MS Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
