I find the process of creating a personal narrative fascinating. While I also enjoy performing from a written script, and developing a character. The performance of my own personal story is an incredible experience, and a personal challenge. I am honored to have been part of this fantastic ensemble with Portland-Story-Theater at their Singlehandedly festival 2011.

This poem in Spanish by Olegario Victor Andrade is near and dear to my heart. In summary it is about the strong bond between mother and child, and how we learn to cope with life because of that motherly love. The pictures were taken on a recent trip to visit my family in Southern California. My little nephews are the joy of our family, and they inspired me to make this slide show/video. Happy Mother’s Day.
This Spanish language production was an amazing experience. The talented cast under the direction of Christy Drogosch, was a tremendous success. The Miracle Theater in Portland Oregon once again takes a risk and comes out the winner with this performance.
